The Swindon Town manager Maurice Malpas could continue to employ negative tactics at Edgar Street on Friday evening as his Robins side look for back-to-back away wins.
Malpas (pictured) demanded a strictly defined system against the MK Dons in yesterday's 2-1 win at the stadium:mk.
Town secured a narrow victory, but left it late as a Simon Cox penalty extracted the three points in stoppage time with virtually the last kick of the game.
Speaking to the Swindon Gazette & Herald, Malpas warned Town supporters not to expect any flamboyant football.
'A lot of credit to the players, they were fantastic in the way they stuck to the game plan.
'The fans have got to get used to us playing like that away from home - we offered them plenty of the ball and made sure they didn't get behind us.
'It doesn't matter how you win, it's the points that count.
'It might be hard for our fans to watch it, if you want to call it rubbish you can call it rubbish.
'We've played much better but lost games this season.
'Our keeper Phil [Smith] is a bit disappointed with their equaliser, but thankfully we got the winner so we can concentrate on the positives.'
