The former Hereford United goalkeeper Matt Baker will be featuring as a BBC match summariser at the Galpharm.
Baker should have plenty of 'inside' knowledge as he is now Yorkshire based, and it will be fascinating to gain his insight into events as they unfold as the Bulls take on Huddesfield Town.
Baker (pictured) joins the BBC Hereford & Worcester team who are providing 'live' uninterrupted commentary of the whole match.
Having recently undertaken a degree in Sports Writing and Broadcast Journalism the ex Hull City and Wrexham goalkeeper completed media work experience with Dons World at the stadium:mk last season.
Baker, now 28, had to retire from the game early after picking up a serious knee injury whilst on trial at Macclesfield in August 2007.
Baker signed as an apprentice at Hull City in 1996, and progressed through the youth ranks before turning professional in 1998.
He was snapped up by Bulls boss Graham Turner ahead of the 2000-01 season, although he started only two Conference matches due to the form of Scott Cooksey.
But when a serious wrist injury forced Cooksey onto the sidelines, Baker quickly established himself as United's first choice keeper.
One of his personal highlights was an inspired performance in the FA Cup against future club Wrexham, in a match which was televised live by the BBC, as Hereford won 1-0.
A consistent 'keeper Baker was part of the free-scoring Bulls side that came close to achieving promotion to the Football League in 2003-04, and represented England in non-league internationals.
In the summer of 2004 he signed for Wrexham but was only at the Racecourse Ground for six months before linking up with the MK Dons, for whom he made over 60 first team appearances.
You can hear the whole of the League One fixture between Huddersfield Town and Hereford United 'live' on BBC Hereford & Worcester this afternoon.
Trevor Owens will be presenting the stations 'Sport on Saturday' programme from 2pm, which will include 'live' uninterrupted commentary from the Galpharm Stadium on the Herefordshire 94.7 FM frequency.
