Tribunal Blow

Tribunal Blow

The long awaited, and anticipated, tribunal decision for two former Hereford players has been received.

However, the outcome of this hasn't been as was hoped...

It was expected that the FA tribunal hearings would be favourable to the Bulls but as it turns out the fees received for both Sam Clucas and Ryan Bowman will be £20,000 each from Mansfield and York respectively.

Quite clearly David Keyte was left disappointed by the outcome but also knows this has to be accepted and you move on.

The Bulls chairman told the official website: 'We are rather disappointed. The decisions are both confusing and inconsistent. But we have to accept them and move forwards.'

We've now got to hope that both players continue to shine with their new clubs and are eventually sold on to bigger and better things then!

Should this happen then Hereford will benefit to the tune of 15% of any transfer fee they received as a sell on clause was also inserted into the transfer of each player...

Bulls finally show true form.

Hereford United finally put a score together that reflects the ability of the side.
On numerous occasions this season they should have despatched teams by scores like this often before half time.

Jon Taylor made a significant change to the team last night moving Obi Onyeike up the park, dropping Javia Roberts into full back, and brought Louis Cutajar in at left back following an extended period out with an ankle injury.

Things however could not have started worse for them as for

If Jon Taylor had hair at the start of last night's game he would certainly have pulled the lot out during the game. The same team that held Poole to a goalless draw only 3 days earlier produced a pe

Herefords young guns came away with a well deserved point from this game and could well have snatched a win at the death.
Facing up to the League's form team the Bulls kicked off in a kit borrowed from their hosts.

Poole's Mark Jermyn was first to threaten with a cross come shot almost dipping under the crossbar.
Next up Burbridge was fouled on the edge of the penalty area which danger man Steve Devlin saw flicked away for a corner. Whisken then headed a Burbridge cross wide as

Herefords young guns reduced the Cambridge City side to chasing shadows for much of this encounter.
With Steve Vetier back in tandem with Javia Roberts operating on the flanks, and Delroy Gordon back in central defence, we saw a similar display to the one that reduced Biggleswade to tatters in the last home win.

Sam Bobes-Gilroy was serving a suspension so Josh Hawker and Josh Oyibo occupied central midfield, with Bilal Yafai operating in a floating role across the front of them.
