Video Vault; RIP Adam Stansfield
Thousands of supporters joined former teammates of Adam Stansfield to say a final emotional farewell to the Hereford United favourite.

Hereford United supporters will recall his superb all-action style.

A player who never gave up lost causes, he was a constant threat to defences.

He will be fondly remembered, not just because of his goalscoring prowess, but as a result of a thoroughly professional attitude to life and to the sport.

On the pitch his style of play ensured his colleagues always had an outlet, and away from the action he was a delight to talk to.

As a football reporter I always found him extremely approachable, extremely engaging, and always a willing listener.

Stansfield scored 17 times for Yeovil in 65 games prior to a move to Edgar Street in June 2004.

Arguably he produced his best form in a Hereford shirt culminating in a Conference play-off final at the Walkers Stadium on May 20, 2006 when the Bulls beat Halifax Town 3-2 restoring United's spot in the league after a nine year absence.

In all Stansfield scored 27 goals for the Bulls chalking up 76 appearances along the way.

Everyone associated with Hereford United Football Club wishes to pass on their sincere condolences to his family at this difficult time.

A sad, sad loss at such an early age.

Bulls finally show true form.

Hereford United finally put a score together that reflects the ability of the side.
On numerous occasions this season they should have despatched teams by scores like this often before half time.

Jon Taylor made a significant change to the team last night moving Obi Onyeike up the park, dropping Javia Roberts into full back, and brought Louis Cutajar in at left back following an extended period out with an ankle injury.

Things however could not have started worse for them as for

If Jon Taylor had hair at the start of last night's game he would certainly have pulled the lot out during the game. The same team that held Poole to a goalless draw only 3 days earlier produced a pe

Luke Williams the hero for stubborn Bulls.

Herefords young guns came away with a well deserved point from this game and could well have snatched a win at the death.
Facing up to the League's form team the Bulls kicked off in a kit borrowed from their hosts.

Poole's Mark Jermyn was first to threaten with a cross come shot almost dipping under the crossbar.
Next up Burbridge was fouled on the edge of the penalty area which danger man Steve Devlin saw flicked away for a corner. Whisken then headed a Burbridge cross wide as

Herefords young guns reduced the Cambridge City side to chasing shadows for much of this encounter.
With Steve Vetier back in tandem with Javia Roberts operating on the flanks, and Delroy Gordon back in central defence, we saw a similar display to the one that reduced Biggleswade to tatters in the last home win.

Sam Bobes-Gilroy was serving a suspension so Josh Hawker and Josh Oyibo occupied central midfield, with Bilal Yafai operating in a floating role across the front of them.
